WHAT IS CORDIA PANOX CARBON (PANOX, PREOX) FELT?

IT IS FLAME RETARDANT, FIREPROOF, HIGH HEAT RESISTANT FELT.
CORDIA CARBON (PANOX, PREOX) FLATS is a non-woven fabric consisting of pre-carbonized polyacrylonitrile (OPAN) fibers. It is widely used as a fire barrier due to its natural flame-retardant properties and good performance in direct contact with flames.

Pre-oxidized fibers have a very high LOI (Limiting Oxygen Index) around 45. It also provides a certain level of thermal and acoustic insulation. Dokunmamış yapısı onu karmaşık geometrilere büyük ölçüde uyum sağlayan hafif, yumuşak ve esnek bir kumaşa dönüştürür.
CORDIA PANOX FELT does not burn, melt or drip.
Thanks to its unique flame-retardant properties, it is mainly used as a fire barrier or fire blanket in many industries. It can withstand temperatures up to 982°C.
Its insulating properties make it an important element in flame-retardant and insulating multilayer laminations used in the production of flame-retardant covers and protectors.
Its great flexibility and adaptability to any other object or area are also highlighted, making this fabric an excellent option for fire blankets, flame retardant tapestry linings, coverings or simply covering delicate elements.
Although it is not completely opaque, it is also used as a flame-retardant curtain in theaters or large events with spectators, thanks to its lightness.
FEATURES:
Product Content: Needled Felt made of oxidized, thermally stabilized polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fiber.
Felt weights are: 100-120-150-200-250-500-1000 g/m2 felt.
• It can withstand temperatures up to 982°C.
• Very high LOI 45-50.
• Heat and sound insulator.
• Light, flexible, bendable.
• It does not irritate the skin.
• Some fibers may remain when cutting.
• Perforated structure, low resistance to traction.
