PANOX, PREOX, CARBON FIBER are the industry standard technical textiles when it comes to fire retardant textile fibers. PANOX, PREOX is a pre-oxidized, thermally stabilized polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fiber that does not burn, melt, soften or drip due to its unique chemical structure. PANOX is far superior to other organic fibers with a limiting oxygen index of over 50% and has the SA non-flammability certificate.

It has excellent thermal stability, chemical resistance and very good electrical insulation properties. Thanks to these features, PANOX and PREOX are used in a wide variety of applications where fire and heat protection is required.
Pre-oxidized Pan fiber is obtained by high temperature thermal stabilization process of polypropylene nitrile. It has high flame retardancy, limiting oxygen index is greater than 40% and has excellent thermal stability. The fiber does not melt, does not soften, does not shrink during burning, does not drip, is a semi-fireproof product and has suitable textile processing performance. The fabric is light, soft and has good water absorption. Depending on the raw material selection, our pre-oxidized Pan felts with good water repellent property have good thermal insulation effect, corrosion resistance, chemical environment resistance and good radiation resistance.
