Description

Aramid

It belongs to the latest group of chemical fibers. Its special capabilities are high strength, high E-modulus, low density and good working acceptance. Therefore, Aramid is perfect for use in different areas of industry, such as in fiber compound materials of its high-demand aerospace parts, for the vehicle, electrical and sports equipment industry, and finally for ballistic protection.

Carbon

Carbon fibers (also called carbon fibers or carbon) are fibers industrially produced from carbon-containing raw materials that are converted into graphite-like carbon by pyrolysis. The diameter of a carbon fiber is about 5-8 micrometers. Usually 1,000 to 50,000 individual fibers (filaments) are combined to form a roving that is wound on spools.

Fiberglass

E-glass fiber is the most common reinforcing material for fiber composites; Glass fibers are inexpensive and have excellent mechanical, thermal, dielectric and chemical properties. Its strength properties are similar to those of metals (e.g. aluminum alloys), but the specific gravity is lower than that of metals. Glass fibers are non-combustible, approximate temperature resistant. It is resistant to 700 °C and most chemicals and weather conditions.

Basalt

Basalt is a dark gray to black, dense, medium-grained, volcanic rock. Basalt fiber is a 100% inorganic, mineral, continuous filament that was only introduced to the market for civilian use in 1995. The size of the 11.0 μm diameter guarantees the best compromise between stability, durability and cost. Also, the fiber has a natural golden-brown color, which can be used for decorative purposes.
