GEOGRID COMPOSITE
Short description
WATERPROOFING
GEOGRID COMPOSITE
GEOGRID is a geosynthetic that is produced from raw materials with high tensile strength such as polyester, polypropylene, etc. and has different elasticity coefficients.
It is used to increase the bearing capacity of the soil.
GEOGRID is a geosynthetic that is produced from raw materials with high tensile strength such as polyester, polypropylene, etc. and has different elasticity coefficients. The spontaneous formation of the connection points of the geogrid and the high tensile strength of the connection points create an advantage against other grids. By undertaking the tensile load, it ensures that the high pressure coming from the top is evenly distributed among the floor fillings. In this way, it prevents irregular positioning of the filling material and increases the bearing capacity of the floor.
In particular, thanks to its cells, it reduces the thickness of the filling by locking the filling material in the size of a gravel. In applications made with different filling materials, it has the feature of filling separation. Due to its high elasticity, it does not crack under high pressure.
Geogrid is preferred and widely used in ground improvements, retaining walls, tensile loads caused by slipping in high fill productions, and low CBR soils.
When the geogrid is used in a laminated manner with geotextile, it both increases the resistance of the geogrid and has filtration properties.

Kategoriler: WATERPROOFINGDescription
Technical data :
It is a pressure-resistant three-dimensional polymer structure drainage product produced to create a hollow structure that allows liquid and gas discharge.
Geogrid is a polymeric material made up of many polymers like polyethylene, polyvinyl alcohol polypropylene etc. It is one of the most important inventions in geosynthesis which is used as a reinforcing material. They formed by joining intersecting ribs. They have large open spaces in between the ribs known as “apertures”
USES:
Soil Improvements in Road and Railway Embankments
• Fill Stabilization in Geowall Projects • Improvement of Soil Fillings • Slope Stabilization areas • Soil Improvements in Embankment Dams • Soil Improvements in Building Foundations
