WHAT IS AEROGEL VALVE JACKET? WHERE IS IT USED?
Airgel has rare physical properties, The most important of these features are that it is the lightest solid material in existence and the advantages it provides in terms of thermal and acoustics.
It is also called insulation blanket used in hot and cold lines.
Airgel valve jackets produced by Cordia are produced using the world’s newest generation, most flexible and lowest heat conduction coefficient airgel technology (Armagel HT and DT).
Airgel valve jackets have a very low heat conduction coefficient and are the most flexible and bendable valve jackets in the world.
It is ultra-thin, ultra-light, environmentally friendly and has superior thermal performance values.
The fabric has a total weight of 660 g/m² and contains 120 g/m² of silicone. This ratio makes the silicone glass fiber fabric reach a high waterproof value. It is one of the rare valve jackets with a thickness starting from 6.5 mm and reaching a thickness of 21.5 mm with a single piece of airgel.
It offers unique product quality to its customers with its stainless steel clasps.
Lowest Usage Temperature: -180 °C.
Highest Usage Temperature: 650 °C
• It is both hydrophobic and breathable. It repels liquid water but allows water vapor to escape.
• Provides new dimensions and new options to improve performance and reduce labor time. Airgel insulation thickness of 5, 10, 15 and 20 mm is available.
• It is naturally open-celled; however, it contains evenly distributed airgel powder beneath the insulation, which provides exceptionally good performance in corrosion-prone environments.
• Offers many benefits including increased flexibility, improved handling and easier transportation.
• It also features LoDust, an innovative dust-reducing technology.
• It is safe for the environment and does not contain chloride. Silica airgel materials are found in nature and do not contain any harmful or dangerous chemicals.
• It is not biodegradable, so it must be disposed of in accordance with our country’s regulations.
APPLICATION AND USAGE AREAS:
Airgel is used in the insulation of cold and hot pumps in urban pipe networks, in the petroleum chemical industry, in energy-saving buildings, structures, transportation, ships and vehicles, in industrial furnaces, in nuclear power plants, in LNG, in the aviation industry, thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, space and aviation applications. It is used in many areas such as catalyst and catalyst fillers, fuel cells, chemical sensors, drug release systems, daily devices and window applications.
- Insulation of cold and hot pipes in urban networks;
- Applications in the petrochemical industry: high, medium and low temperature pipelines, containers and equipment;
- Application of energy-saving buildings: Thermal insulation and noise reduction of interior and exterior walls, roofs, floors, lighting ceilings and glass curtain walls;
- Transportation applications: Insulation and noise reduction of roofs, side walls, subframes and air-conditioned rooms of high-speed trains and subways; insulation and fire protection of battery compartments and cells of new energy vehicles; new energy vehicles and subways, light rail systems, magnetic levitation trains, municipal railways, new transportation systems and other vehicles;
- Applications of ships and marine vessels: Thermal insulation of power cabin, lounge, activity room, kitchen, heating and cooling pipes and equipment;
- Applications of industrial furnace: thermal insulation of furnace body and container;
7- Applications of nuclear power plants: Equipment, container and pipe insulation of nuclear power plants;
8-LNG applications: Insulation of LNG receiving station equipment, pipelines and storage tanks;
9- Applications in the aviation and space industry;
10- Applications of daily appliances: cold chain transportation, vending machines, refrigerators, freezers, ovens, etc.
