WHAT ARE CUT CARBON FIBERS?

WHAT ARE THE USE AND APPLICATION AREAS?
Cut, trimmed, chopped carbon fibers are a lightweight, high-strength material obtained by cutting carbon fibers.

Cut, Trimmed Carbon Fibers are used in the mechanical strengthening and electrical conductivity of thermoplastic injection parts with their high mechanical strength, electrical conductivity and thermal resistance; It is used as an additive with its superior properties in industrial floors where antistatic properties are required and in products such as brake pads where high wear resistance is required.
Cut, Shredded Carbon Fiber; It is obtained by trimming carbon threads up to 6 mm and 12 mm to a fixed length. Fully compatible with Thermoset and Thermoplastic resins. It is used as a carbon fiber component reinforcement and filling material, especially in pressure molding and injection molding applications. It can be sprinkled or molded and combined with epoxy resin to give surfaces or parts a crystalline hammered steel appearance.

The material is very consistent as it is obtained by shearing and cutting unprocessed pure yarns. It does not have defects such as irregularities, solidifications, agglomerations or any residues inherent in recycled raw materials. In addition, thanks to the electrical conductivity of carbon fiber, it is ideal for converting non-conductive plastics and resin systems used as reinforcement into conductive materials.
Increases abrasion, fracture rupture strength, permanence, durability, electrical conductivity, buckling strength and fatigue resistance. It is recommended to store in dry environments not exposed to sunlight.
Cut, Trimmed Carbon fibers; They are used in mechanical strengthening of thermoset and thermoplastic parts due to their high mechanical strength and thermal resistance. In addition, on industrial floors and parts where antistatic properties are required due to their electrical conductivity properties; Due to their high wear resistance, they are used as additives in products such as brake pads.
Carbon Fiber Cut chopped fibers; It is used in the manufacture of special parts in products requiring very high strength, by compressing the dough obtained by mixing it with resin and other auxiliary chemicals under a press. Products that are ten times stronger and more durable than normal glass fibers are obtained.

Cut, Chopped Carbon Fiber 6mm-12 mm product; Compatible with Polyester, Vinylester and Epoxy resin systems.
It is used in reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures with cut and chopped carbon fibers, and by adding it to the concrete mixture during the construction stages of buildings, thanks to its high strength.
It is a micro reinforcement material used for Concrete, Plaster, Screed, Plaster, Field Concrete and Precast applications.
Carbon fiber is an extremely strong, rigid and lightweight material, and its strength is superior to traditional metal materials.
It is technically known as fiber containing at least 95% carbon atoms bonded together.
It consists of very thin carbon fibers, even thinner than a human hair.
Wires can be twisted together like thread.
Threads can be woven together like fabric used to make composite parts
When used with a bonding polymer such as a hard resin or plastic, the strength-to-weight ratio (and stiffness-to-weight ratio) of carbon fiber is much higher than that of steel or aluminum.
