Glass Fiber Needle Felts are an excellent material for heat insulation and soundproofing in industrial applications. Glass Needle mats /felts are manufactured purely mechanically, without the addition of binders, from high-quality E-glass fiber, HT glass fiber or silicate glass fiber (SiO2), with a filament diameter of 6 – 13 µm. Glass Needle mats made from the raw materials mentioned are non-flammable and absolutely harmless to health and the environment (not respirable/non-carcinogenic).

Glass needle mats / fets are made from mechanically needled E-glass fibers without the addition of binders, with a filament diameter ≥ 6 µm and are characterized by high thermal resilience and excellent electrical insulation properties.
Application temperature is up to 550 °C
Thickness : 6-10-20-25 mm
- Shipbuilding Approval (MED) for raw materials
- Fire classification A1 according to DIN EN 13501-1:2010-01 for raw materials
- Excellent insulating ability
